How to apply to be our Chosen Charity

Submissions should be clearly presented on one A4 page, using both sides, addressing key areas of the partnership with answers to the following questions.

Charity overview

— Registered charity number, registered address, contact information, numbers of staff, locations and most recent audited accounts annual income figure (based on most recent accounts: please hyperlink to your Charity Commission page in your application and submit audited accounts as an attachment to your application).

— A short overview (max 150 words) of the purpose of your charity. This will be the basis for all communications about your charity if you are successfully shortlisted.

— How you support the local community.

— Why you think you should become the next Chosen Charity.

Fundraising

— Provide details of one (or more) major fundraising event(s) you will plan as part of this partnership to engage Gough Hotels employees and how this will raise money.

Strategy

— How you will measure success and impact of the programme.

— What a legacy looks like for beyond the partnership and how this can be sustained.

Employee engagement

— How you plan to engage employees.

— Please detail the support and commitment your charity will provide for fundraising and volunteering opportunities for employees, considering a mix of in person and virtual interaction.

— What interesting speakers, networks, trustees, patrons or supporters you could leverage for the partnership.

Organisational capacity

— What you think you will need to make the partnership successful and how Gough Hotels could help your organisation strategically.
